Hello Badminton Club members,

 

We are sending out a notification that this year’s season opener for badminton will be September 19th.

 

Unfortunately, this year will be a bit different as the Catholic School Board is only allowing us one night of play which will now be only Friday nights, from 6:30pm to 9:30pm.

 

Due to this incredibly disappointing result, we have had to make temporary policy changes for this year, such as.

• Age policy- Starting at Grade 9  

• A cap on membership to 45 players for the season

• Closed to newcomers for the time being

 

We are quite gutted about having to make these new changes, but are hoping to come up with a good plan to make things fun for everyone and run smoothly as possible.

Because this cancellation has happened so recently, and we are still trying to figure out our membership policies, and our court bookings start on Friday September 19th, we needed to act quickly.

 

So, here’s what’s happening on Friday…

 

There will be a $5 drop-in fee for adult and youth for last year’s members. (If unable to pay $5.00, you are still welcome). 

 

The badminton committee will also be available to answer any questions.

 

For minors, please bring a parent or guardian to sign a waiver and we also can get the chance to meet them.
